This is a great alternative to the traditional beef meatball. I serve it with garlic chili paste on the side for a little kick. Add your favorite side dish and dinner is complete!

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey or chicken
- 1/2 cup shredded parmesan
- 1/4 cup finely shredded carrot
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp shredded red onion
- 1/2 tsp tumeric
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3 tbsp butter

Instructions
- Combine ground turkey with parmesan, carrot, egg, onion and spices.
- Form into approx 16 meatballs.
- Place butter in a pan to cover the bottom, when melted add the meatballs and cover with a lid.
- Cook on medium heat until meatballs start to brown, turning halfway through.
- After meatballs are slightly brown on the outside turn temperature down to low and continue to cook until cooked through, (approx another 10 minutes)
