Similar to the biscuits at Red Lobster, the flavor in these biscuits will definitely satisfy a craving. Initially these are a little crumbly when they're warm, but if allowed to cool completely they hold together really well.

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Whisk together almond flour, baking powder, salt and xanthan gum.
  3. Mix in the diced cold butter with your hands until well blended and a crumbly mixture.
  4. Make a hole in the center and add the heavy cream and egg.
  5. Combine gently with your hand.
  6. Add shredded cheddar cheese and continue to mix by hand.
  7. Roll the dough into 8 small balls.
  8. Place onto baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 20 minutes or until buns are brown on top.
  10. Take out and allow to cool on a baking rack.
