5 Easy Low Carb Dinners

Super easy dinner, you can make the crust ahead of time or the same day. It’s the fat head pizza crust and then you add your own toppings. Approx 10 minutes to make the crust and another 10 minutes to bake the toppings!

Steak & Spinach Salad

Just as easy as its sounds. I like my cuts of meat to be tender and include some fat so I look for filet or ribeye. These cuts can get expensive but if your buy a large ribeye and cut it in half to share for two people it’s not nearly as much as you think. ($17.99/lb divided into two $8.99/person) You’d easily spend this much per person if you went out to eat fast food and it’s so much tastier!

The salad in this picture is my layered spinach salad. Cook the boiled eggs and bacon ahead of time and all you have to do is throw the layers together!

Salmon, broccoli and cucumber salad with a side of avocado

Throw the salmon in some foil with olive oil, garlic and salt and place on the BBQ for approx 10-15 minutes for a 1 inch filet. Add another 10 minutes for each additional inch. While that is cooking prepare your side salad. Mine shown here is broccoli, cucumber, green onion, cubed mozzarella cheese and Primal Kitchen Italian Vinaigrette

Stirfry

Don’t have much time? This is one of my most satisfying meals that you can make in a pinch.

Cook your chicken thigh or beef (filet or ribeye is best) about 3/4 the way in a frying pan with garlic olive oil.

Add chopped cauliflower, broccoli, bok choy, mushrooms and red onion.

Sprinkle all over with salt, ginger (grated fresh or powder), fresh garlic, coconut aminos and sesame oil if you have it. I am very generous with the salt because it seems to bring out the flavor of the sauce.

Sauté until veggies are cooked but crispy (5-10 minutes).

You can buy any brand of coconut aminos but I personally like this one.

BBQ Cheese Burgers, Salad and Keto Bread

Traditional BBQ meal of cheeseburgers and salad with a side of keto bread. You could also add some cheese to the top of the keto bread and broil it to make cheese toast!

Mix together 1 lb grass fed ground beef, garlic powder, salt and onion powder.

Form into burgers and throw it on the BBQ. I like to use G. Hughes Smokehouse Sugar Free BBQ sauce in Hickory.

Salad shown here is the same as above, broccoli, cucumber, green onion, cubed mozzarella cheese and Primal Kitchen Italian Vinaigrette. You could also sub this out for a side greek salad instead.

Click on the photos for links to purchase the BBQ sauce.

I also enjoy the Maple Brown or you could try the Honey flavored. All sugar free and with real ingredients!
